About the Event
Day of the Dead/Dia de los Muertos 2024 will be celebrated in Old Town San Diego State Historic Park on November 1, 2, and 3. Events begin on the evening of November 1 with a special movie presentation in the park plaza. On Saturday and Sunday, the park will feature ofrendas, or decorated altars, honoring deceased loved ones. Altar tours will be available. Other family friendly activitie will be offered in the park over the weekend.
